Lot 2 closes at 8:01 PM EST. Lot 3 closes at 8:02 PM EST. This will continue until all lots have closed. Also note that extended bidding is still in place. Therefore, if Lot 1 goes into extended bidding Lot 2 will still close at 8:01 PM EST and Lot 3 will still close at 8:02 PM EST, etc. (unless they also go into extended bidding) while Lot 1 is still in extended bidding. This scenario applies to all lots. With extended bidding in place that lot will not close until a period of 5 minutes has lapsed without a bid.

Maximum Bidding is a feature you may use during the duration of the auction. This feature allows you to place a private maximum bid that only you will know and allow the computer to bid on your behalf when another bidder places a bid on the same lot you are seeking. General Welcome and SIRES USED:
Thank you for taking the time to view our sale offering. We are proud of the listing and feel confident that they will continue to improve everyday you own them. We worked hard to assemble a strong sow herd with proven genetics that will deliver consistently excellent results. As you look over the pigs please keep a few things in mind. It is extremely difficult to picture seven week old pigs. These pigs had to be withheld from feed for three days so they have more body fill than is indicated in the pictures. These pigs are 100 % natural, the pictures have not been altered, they have only eaten an 18% ground feed, they have not been clipped, and many were taken directly from the nursery decks. All males are pictured in tact; however they will be professionally castrated prior to the sale so you won’t have to worry about it.

We are hosting an Open House on Saturday April 1, 2006 at the farm, from 9a.m. -2:30 p.m. This is your opportunity to view the sale offering for yourself. If you have any question or need directions, please feel free to call Adrian (937) 658-0755 or Bill (937) 693-2391 and we will be happy to assist you in any way.

Litter Information:

Litter # 1- (Johnny Cash x Drastic) – This is your chance to own a pig out of the $70,000 STC Champion Boar. The dam is a Brattain sow that offers the length, extension, and style to Johnny Cash’s bone, width, and power.

Litter # 2-(Phoenix x Depth Charge)- Sired by the $17,000 Phoenix boar at Top Cut and the dam is a littermate to the high selling gilt at the ’04 Ohio State Fair. Truly a great pedigree.

Litter # 3-(Reputation x Absolute Power) – The dam is a $3500 Cobb sow so this is your opportunity to buy purebred Cobb genetics at a reasonable price. Reputation has already established a winning track record. This litter can keep up the standards.

Litter # 4 – (Atomic x Casper) – Sired by the powerful $24,000 Chester boar, while the dam is a littermate to Triple B’s ‘03 Fall Classic Champion Chester pig. This litter is perfect for today’s trend.

Litter #10 – (Unlimited x Raw Power) - Unlimited, the ‘05 Reserve Champion IN State Fair York boar and the Gehret bred Raw Power x Full Court sow compliment each other perfectly. This gilt is one to look for.

Litter #14 - (Carney Man 63-4 x 90-4) – The Carney Man 63-4 boar is making a lot of noise in the showring. The Hi Point bred sow has been one of our best generating sows. This litter is sure to be good.

Litter #16 – (Forgotten Rebel x Josiah) – Probably the most interesting litter in the sale. Tremendous bone, body, width, and power in these gilts. If you want stout made hogs be sure to check these out.

Litter #17 – (Dark Side x NBS) – These 3 barrows are as good as we have ever raised and better than the pictures indicate. The dam’s littermate was the ’04 NBS Champion Spot gilt from Craig Olsen. If you want to be competitive at the Sate Fair level, look these barrows up.

Litter # 18 – (Duke x Roc On) – Probably the deepest quality litter we had all year. The dam raised the Auglaize County OPEN Champion in ’05 and this litter looks even better.

Litter # 19 – (Johnny Cash x Major Move) – A promising, young Duroc barrow that is perfect for the state fairs. Time will tell.

Litter # 21 – (Blindside x Battle Cry) – A super litter with a tremendous standout barrow. The dam’s littermate was the ’05 Clinton County Champion. With a pedigree built to win, this litter should be a “can’t miss.”

Litter # 22 – (Curious George x Jaguar) – Sired by the $5700 SWTC Champion and out of a terrific sow. The gilts will be perfect for the CPS STC and the barrow is destined for showring success at a state fair.

Litter # 23 – (Bravo x Depth Charge) – Bravo is a boar you will definitely be hearing more of in the future. The sow is our best York sow and our most consistent generator. You will be glad you checked these out.

Litter # 24 – (Alliance x Sampson 294-1) – The dam is the $1100 high selling Cedar Ridge bred gilt from their ’04 sale and the boar is Prairie State’s hottest Landrace boar. A great gilt and a super barrow.
