All items maybe picked up for free at there present Mount Horeb Location. All items may be picked up at the Mount Horeb Auction Center during normal business hours (By Appointment Only Monday through Friday between 8:00-AM and 4:30-PM, Central Standard Time), after full payment has been made and successfully honored by buyer's bank. If buyer needs shipping assistance, please call auctioneers at (608)437-2001. Items must be picked up and removed from its location within ten days--or sooner--following the completion of the auction. Items that remain after 14 days of auction conclusion will be considered abandoned and disposed of. Ending Time:
One item ends every minute, starting at 10:00am Central. First item will end at 10am Central. The remaining auction time will be displayed within 24 hours of the end of the auction under the bid entry field on the right of the page. NOTE: Bid History time stamps are displayed in Easter Time. Also the AutoExtend feature applies to all online auctions. AutoExtend is if a bid is placed in the last 10 minutes the auction will be AutoExtended 10 additional minutes to prevent last minute snipe bids. Gun Buyers:
Wisconsin Surplus is a federal firearms dealer and follows all state & federal laws/rules pertaining to firearm sales. All firearm buyers are required to have a federal/state background check. Firearm buyers must be at least 18 years old (long gun) or 21 years old (hand gun) and cannot be convicted felon. Wisconsin residents can pick-up guns at 202 West Front Street, Mount Horeb WI. All handguns require a 3 day waiting period. If a buyer's background check is delayed by the federal/state examiner the buyer must return to pick up the gun at a later date (likely 3 days). Non-Wisconsin residents must have firearms shipped to a federal firearms dealer in their state of residence, who will complete all the required background checks and holding periods - See above shipping section. (This dealer may charge a fee). Shipping of firearms can only be from Federal Firearms Dealer to Federal Firearms Dealer. We cannot ship directly to you. The receiving Federal Firearms Dealer is responsible for delivering the gun to the ultimate buyer and must do all the required background checks and holding periods. Your dealer may charge you for this service!! If you desire shipping you must provide us with the Federal Firearms Dealers Address, Contact Person and Phone Number - So we can obtain a copy of their License. NON-Wisconsin buyers MUST have gun shipped and CANNOT pickup. Any shipping & handling fees are the buyers responsibility to pay. If you need something shipped please call before you bid for a shipping/packing quote. Items may be picked up at the Mount Horeb Auction Center during normal business hours. A $10 Per day storage fee for items not removed by posted removal deadline. Please pick your items up on or before the removal deadline - Thank You. All buyers must pay all necessary fees to transfer title and properly register vehicle. Sales tax applies to all vehicles; tax rate is determined by the county of buyer’s residence. Title Transfer is $69.50 License Plate Fee is $75 for Autos & SUV's; Pick-up trucks are $75 to $106 depending on Gross Vehicle Weight. All large commercial truck fees are determined by gross vehicle weight. Temporary plates are provided for all Autos, SUVs and Pick-ups under 8,000# when new plates are applied for - Commercial trucks do not receive temp plates.Buyers may transfer there Current not expired licenses plates, if transferred the license plate fee does not apply. Your plates can not be expired and must be in your name or your spouses name!Dealer Services Fee of $20 applies to all vehicle transactions. (Preparation and submission of all required DMV paper work) Used car dealers must provide a copy of there dealers license.Plates are optional.Out-of-State buyers are exempt from Wisconsin DMV Fees & Wisconsin Sales TaxesThe DMV has eliminated fast processing for title only requests - If you elect not to license your vehicle, you will receive your title from the DMV in 10 to 14 weeks. We can not do anything to speed up the process.Bidding Terms:
An On-Line/Internet Auction Buyers' Fee of 17.5% will be added to all high bids to determine the final selling price. Wisconsin State sales tax of 5.5% will apply to high bids including buyers fee. Submitting/making a bid is a legally binding contract which requires full compliance by bidders/buyers of all Wisconsin Surplus Online Auction Terms & Conditions, as well as full payment by the final highest bidder, plus buyers' fees, per the terms listed herein. 5.5% Sales Tax applies to all purchases, unless you are tax exempt and provide wisconsin surplus with your tax ID.
