If you have registered for our previous online auctions you may use that bid number and password; however, you will need to update your account by adding your current information before you will be allowed to bid. This auction has staggered ending times. The first item will close at 8:00 PM EST Monday, November 9. Each item will close ONE minute after the previous. For example: Lot 1 closes at 8:00 PM. Lot 2 closes at 8:01 PM. Lot 3 closes at 8:02 PM. This will continue until all items have closed. Also note that extended bidding is still in place. Therefore, if Lot 1 goes into extended bidding Lot 2 will still close at 8:02 PM and Lot 3 will still close at 8:03 PM, etc. (unless they also go into extended bidding) while Lot 1 is still in extended bidding. This scenario applies to all lots. With extended bidding in place no item will close until a period of 5 minutes has lapsed without a bid.

Delivery Options. A majority of the frozen packages will be available to be shipped at the Buyers Expense from Genetic Connection in Springfield, Ohio. Arrangements can be made after payment is made to The Wendt Group. Shipping will be available anytime after November 12th and completed before December 12th, 2009 or normal storage charges will be applied. DELIVERY NOTE: ALL shipping arrangements need to be made and all genetics delivered on or before December 31 and after payment is made.

Selling Shorthorn, Angus and Club Calf genetics including Embryos, Rare Semen, and Elite Genetics from Glacier Ridge Cattle Company. All Embryo and Semen Packages will be your bid x the number in the package. Example $400 x 3 Embryos = $1200 final bid and auction price! When you submit your bid the extension number will multiply times the number in the package to create a total final auction price. This number added with the buyers premium will create your final invoice and sale price.

Maximum Bidding is a feature you may use during the duration of the auction. This feature allows you to place a private maximum bid that only you will know and allow the computer to bid on your behalf when another bidder places a bid on the same lot you are seeking. EMBRYO PACKAGES
All embryos are Grade One or Grade Two and are fully guaranteed to consist of their respective mating described herein. Due to the nature of this event and the wide range and geographical locations of buyers and sellers involved, no guarantee can be made as to conception rate realized when using these embryos. However, if the buyer uses an embryo technician that is agreed upon by the seller and the buyer informs the seller of his intentions in writing or personal phone call prior to implanting the embryos, at least one pregnancy will be guaranteed per three embryos sold. In all cases, the buyer will be responsible for all shipping arrangements, shipping tanks, and expense. Storage fees might apply if embryos are not picked up or shipped within 30 days of the auction. Consult terms and details under each lot for more details or specific conditions.

SEMEN
All semen is guaranteed to be of acceptable quality but no guarantee is made as to conception rate. However, in all cases, the buyer will be responsible for all shipping arrangements, shipping tanks, and expenses. Storage fees may apply if the semen is not picked up or shipped within 30 days of the auction.

LIVE ANIMAL HEALTH PAPERS & TB TESTING & ACCREDITED STATUS
Each live animal lot selling must have an individual interstate health certificate for a period covering travel from the sale date and on to the purchaser’s destination. Bred females must also provide verification of breeding status.

To ensure there are no restrictions on travel to final destinations our vets strongly recommend that ALL CATTLE be TB tested within 60 days of the sale. If you are accredited-free for TB (state or herd) and choose not to TB-test your sale lots as an added measure, be sure that your vet lists your state’s or herd’s TB-free certification on the health papers.

Standard Breeding Guarantee and Genetic Defect Disclaimer
We require that each consignor agree to the "Standard Breeding Guarantee and Genetic Defect Policies" endorsed by each breed association. Should a defective calf result, buyer is responsible for reporting the defect and following through each of the breed associations steps and protocol or other breed registry standards.. If animal is verified to be defective by the Breed Association, buyer must submit a written copy of the verification to the Seller and Etcow.com within 30 days after birth. Seller is responsible for refunding the purchase price in total or making an adjustment to the purchase price. This guarantee applies only to calves at birth that show signs of a genetic defect recognized by the breed association as there is not a test to determine if some genetic lines are carriers for a defect but do not show signs as an individual at birth. Unless an animal is listed on the individual breed association "genetic defect status list" the breed, breeder, and Etcow.com makes no representation of any kind as to whether an animal has a genetic defect. Consult with each breed association for more information. All transactions are between buyer and seller.

SHIPMENT OF EMBRYOS, SEMEN, AND LIVE ANIMAL TRANSFER
Shipment of embryos, semen, and the transfer of live animals is at the buyer’s expense and risk in cooperation with the seller. Etcow.com claims no liability or guarantees on any genetics, products, or services purchased or sold through this site. Buyer will pay shipping costs to and from destinations to the shipper company. The buyer will pay for purchases with a credit card, cashier’s check, or money order. Embryos and semen will be held until the funds clear the bank. The transfer of registration certificates or artificial insemination certificates is the responsibility of the seller.

It is the seller’s responsibility to ship sold embryos and semen by a reasonably qualified shipping source. Etcow.com will provide the seller with a complete shipping address, instructions, and insurance information if needed from a buyer. The buyer will be responsible for providing a shipping tank and is responsible for the accuracy and quality of the tank. Buyer assumes all responsibility during the shipping process and is encouraged to buy insurance for the tank and genetics.

Progeny produced from matings in this auction are eligible to participate in future Online auction events hosted by www.etcow.com. If you purchase in this sale please make your intentions known to Kevin Wendt Auctioneer certain restrictions apply and the auctioneer will reserve the right of sale placement in the future.

INVOICING:An invoice with payment instructions will be sent to each buyers registered e-mail address at the close of bidding. A link to pay by credit card through secure PayPal will be provided. If you do not receive an e-mail invoice in 12 hours after the close of bidding please contact our office at 614-789-1627 and ask for Katie Pagan or Katey Brattain. Please be aware at the conclusion of the auction the realized bid prices are posted with the winning buyer number this amount does not include the buyers premium that will be added to the final bid price and sent to your registered e-mail address and shown on your invoice. Payment in full including the 10% Buyers Premium is expected immediately after the auction and before any livestock or merchandise is exchanged. Failure to complete the payment terms as stated above will result in forfeiture of animals purchased and negative feedback reported to the credit bureau. Be sure you are capable of paying immediately and realize your bids are not conditional upon financing. Auction Company reserves the right to charge the entire purchase price, buyers premiuim, and late fees to the credit card on file if payment is not made in 4 business days after the close of bidding. Unless the sale of an item is indiacted otherwise, each lot will sell subject to a reserve price established by the seller. When an article is sold with reserve, the auctioneer may bid on the sellers behalf in an amount not to exceed the reserve price. A new feature called RESERVE NOT MET will be used telling all bidders that the seller has placed a reserve on an item. If an item is selling without reserve, this feature is not used.

DELIVERY OF LOTS: The buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses and providing a shipping tank, insurance, etc. related to each lot and will make shipping payment directly to the seller or shipping company. All shipping arrangements will be handled by the seller and buyer. The Wendt Group, Inc. and www.etcow.com are not responsible or held liable for any damages resulting from the shipping. Arrangements need to be made in advance and immediately after purchase. Delivery fees may be charged by the breeder or hauler if necessary. If you need delivery assistance or have questions call ahead before you bid. Purchases may be picked up at the farms anytime after the auction and full payment is received. Call the breeders to schedule an appointment.

HEALTH PAPERS:Furnished upon request for each individual lot. Special testing or export health testing will be at the buyers expense. Potential buyers please call your state vet office for permits, requirements etc. This will need to be done in advance and in a timely manner.

REGISTRATION PAPERS:Transfered to the new owner at the sellers expense after payment in full. Please register for a bid number exactly the way you want the pedigree transfered. The transfer of all pedigree's is the responsibility of the seller to the buyer. Kevin Wendt, Auctioneer and The Wendt Group, Inc. do not assume any responsibility or liability in the proper transfer of registration papers or certificates.
