18994 CORK "SAFETY FIRST POWDER FLASK" GUNPOWDER KEG. ($1650)

CORK "SAFETY FIRST POWDER FLASK" GUNPOWDER KEG. 13" high by 5 1/2" diameter brown painted cork construction. Base embossed "Safety First Powder Flask". Original wooden handle. Hung on display in John Beyer's saloon in Frederickstown,Pa until the early 1950's when it was sold with a number of fine western Pennsylvania rifles to a Monongahela reiverboat captain's son. Attached is an old plug tobacco bag with crumbled tobacco still in it.
