RARE SMITH & WESSON RUSSIAN CONTRACT 3RD MODEL RUSSIAN REVOLVER CA. 1877. .44 Russian caliber with 6 ½” barrel having the Cyrillic address and the Russian Double Headed Eagle stamp with “CO” inspectors initials stamped beneath. All matching in the 17,xxx range and having a “P” proof stamped on the right of the top strap and a circled “II” on the top of the strap. All original and complete and in very good plus condition. Nice original dark patina overall. Fine original factory walnut grips. Action functions perfectly with the exception of the bolt stop and hand (easily replaced). Excellent bore and chambers.
