ENGRAVED INLAID SPANISH LEFAUCHEAUX 12MM PINFIRE MODEL 1863 CIVIL WAR PERIOD REVOLVER. A large caliber Spanish six shot Model 1863 Army Lefaucheax revolver with flip down trigger and lanyard ring; complete and with properly functioning action. From the Basque region of Spain. Barrel with address "Tomas Armo en Eibar" inlaid in silver as well as floral relief also inlaid in silver as well as border silver band around muzzle. Good overall grey period age patina with engraved floral decoration to both cylinder and frame. Nicely worn original wood grips with lots of character worn checkering. "104" nicely stamped in butt of left grip panel. An example of the type.Circa 1860-70's.
