CASED BUFFALO BILL CENTENNIAL PRESENTATION COMMEMORATIVE COLT MODEL 1860 ARMY REVOLVER BY THE U.S. HISTORICAL SOCIETY, CIRCA 1980'S. Serial number "263" with matching certificate. Working Model 1860 .44cal in unfired condition. 8" barrel. Faux ivory grips. Gold plated backstrap, triggerguard and cylinder. Stagecoach scene gold accents to left frame, right frame and various vignets of his exploits on cylinder. "William F. Cody" in banners on both sides of barrel with gold accents as well. Green velvet lined case with all accompanying accoutrement. Flask, mold, toll cap tin, etc. Documentation includes certificate with the gentleman's name who ordered it as well as trifold user's manual. Leather and gold embossed lid. Williamsburg, VA. Manufacture so not Italian import. Like new condition. Also included white set of gloves for handling.
