As promised in the last sale we would offer mates to those as we felt they were ready, so here you go. Lets talk about pedigree. This sows mother is 2-11 Buck fifty, a class winning gilt at the 2011 Ohio State Fair. Also the littermate sister to Dirty Harrys mother. The grand dam is the mother of Rogers' cross gilt from 2012. Her wins included: Grand Overall T&D jackpot show, Bronze Medallion southwest district Oklahoma, Champion Gilt Caddo County, Bronze medallion commercial gilt OYE. This Rogers' gilt has now produced in her first litter champion at T&D jackpot and as of today champion at Caddo county Oklahoma. Sow side is proven!! I have complete faith in this one. As far as the sire I believe Playboy is one of the most unique Super Monster son's. This guy was the reserve grand cross bred boar at the 2012 Ohio state Fair and I bought him with a purpose to make them better! Don't miss out on this one. He motors around on a big set of feet and stout legs. Has a strong pastren set and is way pulled apart from the top of his blade to the base of his feet. 129-9 is one really stout barrow that appears to be slightly bigger outlined, by this I by know means he is BIG but hes longer cannoned taller shouldered and more extended yet is still near perfect in length of body. This can be a hard combination to put together. The stoutness of this guys skull and width between his eyes tells me he will do nothing more than get better with time. He does read a little green but most of mine do at this age. Just buy them up take them home and collect the winnings. Don't forget he is a littermate to Lot 1. Remember that pedigree!! This was one deep litter, we weaned 12 total put it in prospective we have now offered 10 and retained 2. That's dang good in my opinion and it goes back to that proven pedigree on this guys mommas side. Today 129-12 is a little more ready than 129-9 but as far as all other characteristics they are spitting image of one another. I'll let you decide which one will be the better feeder in the end. This is another pedigree I have complete faith in. 130-1 dam is the littermate sister to the 2011 OSF reserve cross barrow and many time jackpot champion. Last spring we bred this sow the same way. She produced the champion heavy weight barrow at Missouri State fair and we retained 2 keeper gilts and boy are they neat. Visitor favorites. As you can tell i have tried to find those ones to place in this sale and when i found this pair of 131 litter gilts i thought these are tailor made for the way the industry is moving. 131-5 is stout stout stout and a little taller shouldered and longer cannoned, maybe even a half rib longer and way more extended than most yorkshire gilts being offered today. I love this pair and feel like they are a step in the direction of making barrow bigger outlined while still maintaining power. I will caution you 131-5 does offer a little heavier ear set. (by no means heavy or down just a little more forward). Other than that she is a brood sow/show gilt deluxe. Remember trends are constantly changing. I believe she does possess a bigger toe and foot, in my opinion 131-6 may be the show gilt of the pair, She's classy. both are tremendous prospects. This girl is generating her gilt litter produced the champion york grand overall at McCoy's customer sale and the 4th overall gilt at Tulsa state fair. the 92s are second litter and by no means a dissapointment.
