We had very high hopes for that pair of gilts, and they flat out delivered results on big stages. Beautifully designed. Muscle-pattern exactly where we like it for young Hampshire gilts and absolutely massive chested. We think BIG banners could be in this pair’s future as well. 33-1 (Underline 7-6) is the gilt that most closely resembles the Champion Hamp at OYE at this stage of the game. Jet fronted, ultra feminine in her look, with base width and power to get it done! Both are blown way apart but this one comes at you just a tick wider and bolder as she drives right at you in comparison to her littermate. The differences are very very small and we will work with you to help decide which one best fits your needs! She's got it all-and then some! If she matures like that one did for the Ottenwalter family its going to be a very fun summer! If you have the opportunity to come check this one out, please do so because we (and visitors) don't think her pictures do her justice. This one is certainly way out there in muscle and width but our experience with Berks is that their structure can handle early muscle and they will tend to not tie up like some other breeds as they mature. This one should be really easy to feed. Just pour low-protein stuff in the pan and keep it full and we think she can do the rest. She is an absolute truck coming and going, as massive and stout as any Berkshire gilt we have started! She is unique in that she blends all this power into an extremely complete, functional package. The mother of this female produced the 2012 3rd Overall Berk Barrow at Springfield for the Fecke Family, purchased in last years sale, as well as a class-wining gilt at 2012 InSF. If this one matures like they did and we think she will---you will be noticed, and think she can be a force to be reckoned with wherever you want to show her.
